She earned several distinguishment in her 14 years as a prosecutor, before she left to open her own practice in 2005. As a criminal defense attorney, she uses her understanding of the justice system to fight for her clients' rights.

Ami is a native New Yorker and a graduate of St. John's University School of Law.
